On the Public Relations side, he is working closely with Major
V. Sassoon, from S. E. A. C., and they are at present preparing
a constructive plan of operations which includes loud speaker
system, which it is hoped will be available shortly.
Broadcasting. Continue in the hands of Mr. A. T. May the
programme director who will continue to act until repatriated.
He works independantly of Public Relation Officer but liaison
between these sections is established.
Public Relations and Eroadcasting are now able to function
on their own.
Requisition & Billetting.
Inter-Service Committee has been
formed to deal with billetting throughout the Colony and Lt. Col.
Milne has been appointed Quartering Commandant.

requisitioned.
Assessment. The whole question of terms on which buildings are requisitioned is under negotiation and it is understood that
the matter is being referred to the C. 0. 5.
No.Assessment Officer has et arrived in the colony and this
tricky question will probably have to be held temporary in
abeyance although it seems desirable that some form of
interim compensation should be given to owners of properties
taken over or used for billetting purposes.
